When Chungju Dam was completed in 1985, Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex was established in Multae-ri, Cheongpung-myeon in order to preserve the cultural assets that were to be submerged. It is considered as a top tourist attraction. Interpretation guides (English, Chinese, and Japanese) and cultural tourism interpreters at the tourist information center provide a guided tour every 30 minutes. You can get systematic information about the cultural assets in the Cultural Heritage Complex and buy Jecheon’s medicinal herbs and local specialties.
