Hosted by the Korean Alpine Federation, this competition sees around 1,000 mountain marathoners every year participate in the Full Course (35km, to be completed within 8 hours), the Half Course (25km, to be completed within 5 hours), the Short Course (13km, to be completed within 4 hours), and more.
The marathon will have participants run on the gentle mountain paths along the ridges of Geumsusan Mountain, which are approximately 800m above sea level, and participants will be divided up in the categories of youths, prime of life, elderly, females, families, and groups.
